If you have a gmail account, Google will send your U.S. bound cards free via snail mail.  The only condition is that they'll do it while supplies last, so get to it.

Google Phone for Boomers

The iPhone from Apple was all about hype.  It was obviously well done because there were long lines waiting to get the new phone and while the jury is still out on its value, you can't argue with the sales results. 

Google is also said to be about to enter the market but so far they have taken the opposite strategy that Apple took.  The rumors abound that there will be a phone introduced in the next couple of weeks that will work in many different countries with a variety of carriers and it will be much less than the cost of the iPhone.  So far, Google has said nothing so everything you read or hear is not verifiable including what the phone will look like but there is no shortage of guesses all over the web as you can see below.

However thanks to a tip from a reader in the know, Google is about to release its first phone aimed at the boomer market and just as Apple has a famous boomer Steve Jobs, Google has now hired an even more famous boomer as its spokesman.  It seems that after NBC's breakup with Apple, it will also be getting involved on the video side.  You can see here how it has been carefully designed for that retro look and the best part is that it will be pay as you go.
