Bringing a gun to a snow ball fight

For those of us who grew up in Canada, the right to throw snowballs at any moving vehicle is as understood as the right to fighting in a hockey game.  But it seems these rights change once you go South of the 49th parallel.  Look at this video about a cop in Washington DC who drew his gun because his Hummer was pelted with snowballs.  You think maybe this guy is a little too tightly wrapped?  If he lived in Canada he could have killed a few dozen kids by now.  Disgusting!!

Baby Boomer babies

It is becoming more and more uncommon for a baby boomer to have a baby these days, simply because the youngest boomer women are now 44.  So when 60 year old Ranjit Hayer gave birth to twins in Calgary last week, all I could think of were things such as, imagine being in your 70's and sitting your kids down to tell them about the facts of life or trying to explain to them why their friends' grandparents are younger than their parents.

There are over 700 comments on the post as it seems many Canadians aren't too happy about the woman going to India to be artificially inseminated and then leaning on the Canadian healthcare system to have her babies.
