As you know I used to blog several times a month but because of a Typepad problem that is beyond frustrating, I have not had the patience to blog lately and finally after spending a few hours unsuccessfully trying to get a new post formatted properly, I have just decided to give up.
Sorry this post is in a small font but that's why I'm quitting Typepad after 3 years as a customer. I like to post in a larger font since this blog is aimed at older users who don't have the eye strength they once used to. But for almost the past year it has been a continuing struggle to get the Typepad fonts right when I am posting graphics and links with my posts. It can sometimes take an extra hour trying to screw around with the fonts before I can get what I want. They have offered work arounds but that's not what I want. The reason I liked Typepad is because I didn't have to learn HTML-or so I thought. I just want it to work again-it used to-what happened?
I reported the problem a year ago and as you can see from the time stamps below from Typepad support, they acknowledged they have a problem and almost a year later they reported they are still working on it. I even sent an email to Chris Alden, Chairman and CEO of Six Apart which owns Typepad but got nothing back. So much for giving a crap about your customers.
Hope to see you soon.
Brian

Hi there,
Thanks for your message. The issue with adding formatting and losing links is something that we are working on fixing.
But Tyepad as you can see from the posts below hasn't been able to fix the problem

Hi-
There's a known issue with applying multiple formats to the same section of text. When you apply the link to the word, it overrides the previously formatted font size. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as a possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jen
