How to send a text message from Email

Sms I think we "old schoolers" as "millenials" like to call us don't do a lot of text messaging (SMS.)  Occasionally when I do send them, I realize what a hassle it is when I start trying to negotiate through a phone keyboard to type the message.  I usually get so frustrated that I just end up calling.

Here is a link to a site that tells you how to send text messages from your email.  As long as you know the receiver's number and carrier, it's a simple process and best of all, it's free-for you, although the receiver may have to pay something.  I tested it out with a couple of Canadian phone #s and it worked as advertised.
