A Social networking site for elderly people that makes sense
Finally, we hear about a social networking site that can actually assist older users, Enurgi. It can match up people who need caregivers with qualified and licensed people. I think the main users are going to be the family of those people who require care, but it's great to see a web application that actually has a social benefit.
Read all about it on TechCrunch:

Another web application with a social benefit- recently partnered with a number of national non-profit groups, is Seattle-based SNAPforSeniors. Data-base search engine with over 50K senior living options- allowing caregivers or advocates (that would be boomers) to search for available housing throughout US- no gatekeeper- direct to consumer approach.
Engine collects, aggregates and standardizes data from public/private sources for ALL senior housing types, augments it with direct data submission and provides a common database with a distributable search interface and communication platform.
