The cartoon above is on the money so to speak.  ID theft is something most of us don't think could happen to them.  But if it does happen, cleaning up the mess can take forever.  After a recent trip, a friend received information that her credit card was being replaced because of suspicious activity.  It doesn't look like it was anything more than unusual use by her, but what should she have done if it was a case of identity theft?
